Talent & Admin Generalist

About The Role

The Talent & Admin Generalist will support our People and administrative functions, with a focus on talent acquisition, visa/PRO coordination, and extensive travel logistics for the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in internal talent acquisition / external recruitment and administration, with a strong understanding of UAE labour laws, government compliance, and employee support services. This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You'll Do
1. Talent Acquisition Coordination:
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Act as a support for onboarding activities for new hires
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases and candidate tracking systems.
 
2. Visa, PRO, and Government Compliance:
  • Manage all visa-related processes, including applications, renewals, and cancellations for employees in the UAE.
  • Liaise with PROs and government authorities to ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and regulations.
  • Handle medical insurance enrollments, renewals, and claims for employees.
 
3. Travel and Logistics Coordination:
  • Organise and manage travel arrangements for employees, including flight bookings, accommodations, and transportation for the UAE.
  • Coordinate logistics for team-wide travel, ensuring smooth and cost-effective arrangements.
  • Handle logistics administration for the site in Fujairah including accommodation, vehicles as well as conducting regular check-ins with the site employees and contractors.
  • Assist with Dubai office maintenance as needed.
 
4. Administrative Support:
  • Manage office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist in budget tracking and reporting for People, Talent and Administrative activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of company events and employee engagement activities.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in HR administration, talent acquisition whether in-house or working in an external recruitment agency.
  • Experience in handling UAE visa processes, PRO coordination, and government compliance is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software/tools.
  • Knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
